For Jungle Camp, Nagzira Wildlife Sanctuary one has to reach SAKOLI TOWN situated in RAIPUR- NAGPUR National Highway No. 6. If coming from Nagpur one has to turn left from sakoli, 15 kms ahead of sakoli Pitazari gate of Nagzira Wildlife Sanctuary is located. Jungle camp is just 4 kms away from the gate.

The park remains closed for the visitors in the monsoons from
end of June and starts around mid of October.

GETTING THERE

BY ROAD:

Directions: Please read carefully before you begin the Journey. (A printout will be handy)

From Nagpur City , our resort is approximately 135 Kms.

 

Villages and Towns enroute:

( Raipur – Nagzira ) : Raipur –kumhari– Bhilai–Durg–Rajnandgaon–komara– Sakoli –Pitazari gate – Jungle Camp

Road Conditions: The road is excellent (almost 4 lane) from Raipur and Nagpur all the way to the resort. (Please ensure that your spare wheel is in good condition and so are your tools to change a tyre in case of a flat).

Ideal time to leave: Try and leave at 6.00 AM in the morning so that you can beat the city traffic.

Travel Time: Approximately between 4 and half hours from Raipur including a 30 minute stop for breakfast enroute.

Mobile Connectivity:

Vodafone network connectivity works well at Jungle Camp, Nagzira. Whereas the Idea network works at the resort. Reliance GSM, CDMA and BSNL have low connectivity.

To help you experience the jungle in its truest sense we recommend the following:

Safaris: Caps, clothing in dull shades of brown, green and khaki. Please avoid bright vibrant colors like red, yellow, white and orange. (They distract the animals.)

Nature walks: Caps, sport shoes and boots, rucksacks/sling packs, binoculars, water flasks.

Monsoon (June – Aug): Warm clothing, windcheaters, raincoats, jackets.

Winter (Nov – Jan): Warm clothing, windcheaters, jackets.

Summer (Feb – May): Caps, cool comfortable fabrics.

Note: Every room will offer basic toiletries, a candle, a torch and mosquito repellent.

While Resorts offers basic first-aid, you are requested to carry any special medication you may require, as the nearest pharmacy is 12 km away.
