HOW TO REACH KANHA – By Air
Flights from almost all the major cities of India land at the Raipur airport, from where you can take a taxi which will reach kanha in around 4 1/2 to 5 hrs.
HOW TO REACH KANHA – By Train
The nearest railway junction from kanha is Gondia from where it takes around 3 hrs drive till the resort.

HOW TO REACH KANHA
We are located in the tribal heartland of Madhya Pradesh. Central India journey winds through charming rural villages, and spectacular forest as one approaches KANHA TIGER RESERVE.
The quickest entrance is to fly to Nagpur or Raipur, followed by 4-5 hrs drive. Both these cities are connected to most major towns, though Nagpur can be easier option with more regular flights.
The closest railway station is Gondia junction followed by 3 hrs drive. Other nearby railway connections are Jabalpur-5 hrs, Bilaspur- 6 hrs. All stations are well connected with major cities.
Car journey times between local popular destination and our next resort are Bandhavgarh tiger reserve – 6-7 hrs, and kawardha palace 2 ½ hrs.

HOW TO REACH KANHA BY ROAD:
Directions: Please read carefully before you begin the Journey. (A printout will be handy) From Raipur City , our resort is approximately 192 Kms.
Villages and Towns enroute: Raipur –Simga – Kawardha –Chilpi –Soupkhar –Gadhi – Mukki gate –Bamhni village – MUKKI.
Road Conditions: The road is excellent from Raipur all the way to the resort, but for the last 15 kilometers. The last 15 Kms are bad, with potholes, but motorable. (Please ensure that your spare wheel is in good condition and so are your tools to change a tyre in case of a flat).
Ideal time to leave: Try and leave Raipur before 6.00 AM in the morning so that you can beat the city traffic.
Travel Time: Approximately between 4 & 5 hours including a 30 minute stop for breakfast enroute.
BSNL network connections will be within range just before reaching at Mukki. Whereas the reliance network works at the resort.
To help you experience the jungle in its truest sense we recommend the following:
Safaris: Caps, clothing in dull shades of brown, green and khaki. Please avoid bright vibrant colors like red, yellow, white and orange. (They distract the animals.)
Nature walks: Caps, sport shoes and boots, rucksacks/sling packs, binoculars, water flasks.
Monsoon (June – Aug): Warm clothing, windcheaters, raincoats, jackets.
Winter (Nov – Jan): Warm clothing, windcheaters, jackets.
Summer (Feb – May): Caps, cool comfortable fabrics.
Note: Every room will offer basic toiletries, a candle, a torch and mosquito repellent.
While Mukki offers basic first-aid, you are requested to carry any special medication you may require, as the nearest pharmacy is 12 km away.
